Kyler!!!

Daxon just loves his cousin Kyler!!  They have so much fun together! He is Dallas and Staci's 9 month old baby boy.  He is ADORABLE!  We don't get to see him as much as we'd like!!!  It is SO FUN when we get to play with him!!

Daxon's new bike!!

We got Daxon a new bike for his birthday! He was so excited, but I goofed!!  I guess I just am forgetting how big he is getting!!!  It was too small for him.  I decided by next spring, when he will be riding it lots, it will be way too small for him.  So I took him back to Wal-Mart and let him pick a better one out.  It worked great! Just right!! And he loves it!!

Little Hunting Buddy!!

We took Dax hunting and he was so excited.  He said, "I'm gonna get a 6 point with my new BB gun!" Good thing all of the monster 6 points were hiding when Dax came around with his new BB gun!  They were doomed for sure!!

Boyd's Buck!!

Boyd (Brian's dad) bagged this nice 25" 3X4 opening morning of the deer hunt.  We all went with him and it was a blast!!!  It's so exciting watching someone kill a good buck! I'm so glad "the boys" let me go along.  I was a little outnumbered!!  We couldn't stop talking about our fun hunting trip the rest of the day!!

My Birthday Party

My parents and Brian's parents and the two of us all got together for my 29th birthday.  We had steak and shrimp and lots of other good food!!  After our HUGE meal, we played Apples to Apples!! Such a fun game!!  It was such a great birthday!  The next night Brian took me out for crab legs at Hoover's and then to Richfield to a movie!!  What a great birthday weekend!! Thanks to Brian and our parents!!  I love you guys!!

All his friends at school gave him lots of fun gifts!!  He had a blast at all of his fun parties!!  He is 4 and proud of it!!!

Fun in the first snow!!

We rode up on the mountain today to show Daxon the snow.  It was snowing at home, but not enough to play in.  We told him it was really deep up there and he was so excited to go see and play in it!  We also took the opportunity to look for an elk for me to shoot, since I haven't been able to hunt.  But it was so snowy, that all the elk and deer were in hiding.  We were able to take a lot of fun pictures though!!  It was super pretty up there!!  Very cold though!!  Daxon had so much fun playing in it and throwing snow balls at us!! 

Brian got his Spike!!

Brian got his spike elk this morning.  Wes was there with him and helped him with it! They had a lot of fun.  Wish I could have been there.  Dax and I were both sleeping soundly when it all took place! Ha Ha!  I actually have a tag, but have not been able to go since I have been healing from my surgery.  Rough roads and hiking make it difficult for my  owie to heal!  Bummer!  But I was excited that we are gonna have some elk steaks for the winter!!  Good job Bri!!

PUMPKIN PATCH

We picked all of the pumpkins out of our patch this weekend.  We got a few big ones.  Dax had a lot of fun with it, and loved having our own little patch in our yard.  We are gonna carve some of them when it's a little closer to Halloween.  Won't be long!!  The pictures of Daxon alone with the pumpkin is the one he picked at the pumpkin patch on the school field trip!  He had a blast!
