Oh how I love these Kids!

Oh how I love these Kids!!
What would life be like without kids? Pretty boring I'd say!! Daxon and Destri bring so much joy to our lives. Never a dull moment at our house. We love you both VERY much!! We couldn't ask for sweeter kids!!

Letter from Daxon. He has a heart of gold!!

Destri's "silly" face!
She decided to try it with her toes. :)
These two just love each other!! Daxon plays so good with his little sister.

Just a few campin' pics!

Butch Cassidy Days

The Hoedown!
The Hoedown is becoming quite a popular fair event here in Piute County. This year Charley Jenkins came to perform. He always does a great job and really gets the crowd going. They also serve babyback rib dinner at the hoedown, and I must say it is AWESOME. "Rick's Famous BBQ Ribs" Yep, my good 'ol dad cooked enough ribs to feed 400 people. It was SOOO good! He is so amazing. Everyone loved the food, entertainment and dancing. It was such a fun night!

Little Buckaroo Rodeo
The kids had fun at the Little Buckaroo this year. Destri was big enough to compete this year. Her favorite part was chasing, and almost catching, the chicken. Daxon's favorite part this year was riding the sheep (of course). He was all geared up to make an 8 second ride. He was really close to making it the full 8 seconds. He did a great job! Brian told me that he was cracking up at him and Trey Barnson behind the buckin' shutes, because Dax leaned over to Trey and said, very seriously, "Trey, ride it like ya mean it!!" So cute! He was a little upset that he outgrew his old chaps and I didn't get him any new ones before the fair, though. I guess I know what to get him for his birthday or Christmas this year! :)

Givin' Marty a high 5!

She almost had that darn chicken!!

Friday Night Rodeo

Grandpa Bill with Daxon and Jeremiah
Just a couple of good shots I captured of Jade Dalton. He won the saddle bronc this night.

5th Annual Brayden Blackwell Memorial 5K

5th Annual Brayden Blackwell Memorial 5K
It is just tradition to run this race. Just one of the things ya gotta do!! :) There was a great turnout again this year and everyone had lots of fun. I took 1st in my age group and 3rd overall. I was a little disappointed that my time was slower than last year, but I still had fun. Daxon did really well in his race (one lap around the track). He took 2nd. He got a medal, so he was very happy about that. Then we had to hustle on home and get ready for a full day at the PIUTE COUNTY FAIR!
Alisa, Heather, Me, Daxon, Mekeisia, Jaden, Zack, Beth, Denise, Kami and Kelli.

Me and Lins. This was her 1st 5K. She did AWESOME!
They were bookin' it!! Good job Dax!!
Happy about their medals! :)

Saturday of the Piute County Fair!

Saturday of the Piute County Fair!
This is always the best part of the fair!! It's a day FULL of fun and excitement. It starts with the parade at 10:00, and right after that it's an afternoon full of fun at the park. There's games and bouncehouses for the kids, entertainment, food vendors, shopping, horseshoe tournaments and many other fun stuff for EVERYONE! We had a blast! In fact, we had so much fun that me and the kids had to go home and take a nap before the evening festivities began. Brian stayed and played in a horseshoe tournament with Matt.

That night we went to the rodeo. I just love it, because it's such a social event. I love seeing everyone and visiting. The rodeo was really good too. We got to watch Matt rope, Amy run barrels, and Cory and Wes ride bulls. And lots of other locals do their thing. It's so much fun.
After the rodeo, Whitney and Ben stayed at the house with the kids while Brian and I went to the dance. Of course the dance was a total BLAST!! It's so crazy how many people show up to that thing. Brian and I danced almost every dance and we were pooped by the time we finally went to bed at 2:00 am. We had so much fun, though, and it was an AWESOME fair, yet again. I'm so grateful for all of the hard work my mom puts into it every year! She does works year round on it. She is very good at what she does, and she makes sure the fair is a success. Thanks, MOM, for all your hard work and efforts to make the fair so much fun. WE LOVE YOU!!!

My mom and the fairboard throwing popcicles at the parade!
Dax loved the bounce houses and slides! As you can see!!

I tried to rain on our parade... We didn't let it stop our fun!

My husband is super strange!
Priceless!
