Memorial Day

Memorial Day
It was fun teaching the kids about the members of their families
that have passed away and are buried in the Junction Cemetery.
They found the markers for Great Grandpa Ambrose Dalton and
Great Grandpa Rusty Harris, who were honored for their service
in World War II.  We also decorated the graves of their Great Grandpa
and Grandpa Dalton and Great Grandpa and Grandma Harris.

This is 3 years in a row he has earned the 100%  attendance award!  Not  too  shabby!!  He was awarded a trophy and $.  This year he also won a Razor in the attendance drawing, so he was pretty tickled!! :)  Great job Dax, we are so proud of you!!

Coeur D'Alene, Idaho

Coeur D'Alene, Idaho
Brian began this summer working at his new bridge near CDA, ID.  Instead of working during the week and home on the weekends, he works about 2-3 weeks on and 4-5 days off.  So we are going to see very little of him this summer.  I had a few days off over the weekend, so I decided to fly out and visit him.  We counted it as our anniversary.  We had a wonderful weekend together.
My Aunt Margaret picked me up from the Spokane, WA airport Friday morning and took me straight to the CDA Inn Resort Spa.  There I enjoyed a 90 minute massage and lunch with her.  Later we met up with Brian and I spent the weekend with him.  My Uncle Billy was able to reserve the owners private dining room for us at Beverly's. (a 5 Star Restaurant at the CDA Resort).  It was fabulous and so romantic!  We had a really fun time walking around the boardwalk at the resort.  We even got up one morning and went for a 4 mile run around the lake.
Before heading back to the airport Monday morning, I was able to go to breakfast with my Aunt Margaret and cousins Kasey and Katie. (Who I hadn't seen in a very long time)  So that was very nice also!
It is so beautiful up there, and I'm so lucky I was able to go and visit him.  I wish I could've stayed longer!  Maybe I can make a trip back before the summer ends.
