Morrill's Take on Chicago
We decided to take a family vacation to see the cubbies play at Wrigley Field. What an amazing trip!! We stayed in an apartment in Wrigleyville, just a block from Wrigley Field. When we got settled into our apartment the first evening, we could hear the game going on from our room. It was the coolest atmosphere! It was Season opening home week for the Cubs, which was extra special because we are the defending World Series Champions! It was the trip of a lifetime. The kids loved every second of it. You can see from most of the pictures that it was really cold, but we didn't care! We were able to get great tickets for 2 games. We played the Dodgers the first day, and won. And we played the Pirates the second day and lost. It was fun to sing "Go Cubs Go" at Wrigley. The atmosphere and the crowd was simply amazing. I already want to go back! We love baseball and we love our CUBBIES!!
