Spotlight on MY MOM!!!

For Mother's Day I thought it would be fun to recognize my wonderful mom! She is the GREATEST!! I'm super lucky such an awesome mom! Not only is she a great mom, she is just a great person all the way around. She stays super busy with her her job as a Science and Art teacher at Piute High School, as well as the Yearbook adviser. She is also the Piute County Fair director and has been for MANY years. A lot of you might not know that she spends the ENTIRE year working on the Fair, not just the summer. She really has turned it into quite a success, and every year she manages to make it even better! She is also super talented and is SOOO artistic! She is also a SPECTACULAR Grandma! She takes care of my kids a lot, and I don't know what I'd do without her help! Last, but not least, she has been the most wonderful mom in the whole wide world. She has been there for me no matter what, ALWAYS! She is such a great friend to me and I don't know what I'd do without her! I have posted some interesting facts about her that she answered for me. Enjoying Spring!!

We took advantage of the nice, warm weather this last weekend. It sure has been a nice change from the cold weather and wind we've been having. I took the kids for a little walk up behind the house. They loved it. Dax loves riding his bike, but we really need to work on taking off his training wheels!! Achilles sure had fun with us too. He is such a great dog, so loveable. He follows Daxon everywhere he goes. It's so cute! Destri is now 10 months old! I can't believe it. She is getting big so fast. She is getting her own little personality. She is kinda shy when people come up and talk to her. She smiles and ducks her head. It's so cute. She loves to wave goodbye and play pattycake! She is just so much fun!! A little dramatic, but that's a girl for ya! :) She has so much fun with her best friend, Leighton! They are only 1 month apart. Leighton is 11 months. We are looking forward to more warm weather to come!!

Easter

We had so much fun at home this Easter! We spent some time doing some Easter egg coloring. So fun!! Dallas, Staci and Kyler came down and we all went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for a big Easter Egg hunt. We invited the neighbors over too. Stormee, Trey, Kaisley, Lerrell and Ecko. The kids had a GREAT time, and got TONS of eggs! Then Mom and Dad cooked a yummy dinner. Dad's ribs are THE BEST!! Everyone know that! It was a fun weekend with the family!
