Springtime is the best on the farm. We get to see all the new baby lambs and help feed the ones that need a little extra help. And sometimes we even get to go for a little ride on the tractor!!!
Dax had another great season of wrestling!! He had a lot of tough matches this year and won a lot of medals!! He has come a long way the last few years and has learned a lot about the sport. We are sure proud of him and his dedication to the sport. He sure is a tough little guy!! He ended up taking 3rd at State!! Good job Dax!
For Scouts this year they decided to do the Raingutter Rigatta. Apparently it's not our thing, because Dax and his boat didn't do very well. But he had fun and looked good doing it!! I even gave it a shot!! Not as easy as it looks!!! :)
We had a great time celebrating Brian's Birthday. It was a beautiful day, so we were able to enjoy the weather and play outside for a bit. Poor Dax spent the day on the couch, because he was sick all weekend long. Brian picked out his bday present from me and the kids and got himself a new chainsaw!! It will come in handy during summer camping and the hunts for sure!! I sure love this man!!
Brian was asked to play on the Firefighter's team for Donkey Basketball. I'm not sure who had more fun, the athletes, or the fans!! It was so fun to watch. He had a blast! His donkey drug him around the floor a lot! I couldn't stop laughing!!
Let's see, where shall we begin? :) I suppose we could sum it up by saying two good friends found love and happiness, and here we are!!! Brian and I were just married on June 7th, 2008. We enjoy all the same things. Mainly camping, fishing, hunting, and sports!! We have so much in common (except for the age thing). Ha ha!!! But that's about the only thing! We both love spending our time with Daxon and Destri. Daxon makes us laugh everyday at the oddball things that he says!! And Destri has brought so much joy into our home! When she smiles, it lights up the room! This is the beginning of our wonderful journey together, and we are very excited to share it with all of you!
