Where did you meet your husband?

Well I guess the first time I ever met Brian was in high school.  He was, however, a few grades younger than me!!  So funny!!  He was just a little guy!!

How long did you date before you were married?

We were dating for about 6 months. 

How long have you been married?

We have been married for 4 whole months now!! My how time flies! Ha Ha

What does he do that surprises you?

What surprised me at first is that he cooks me dinner!!!  Now I'm getting used to it! I'm pretty spoiled!  I love that he can cook!

What is your favorite feature of his?

His arms and his chest!!  Holy cow! He is solid as a ROCK!!  I also love his smile!

What is your favorite quality he has?

There are so many!!!  One is that he is Mr. Handy Man!!  He can build or fix ANYTHING!!  And he is so willing to do it too!!  My other favorite is his love for me and Daxon!  He is so good to us.  He would do anything for us!  He is the BEST!

Does he have a nickname for you?

He calls me babe.  And sometimes he calls me a dork! Ha Ha!

What is his favorite food?

Steak, Buckmeat, and Tacos

What is his favorite Sport?

Baseball and UFC

When and where was your first kiss?

At my house.  I still remember the butterflies!!

What is your favorite thing to do as a couple?

Anything in the mountains.  Camping, hunting, or just going for a ride on the mountain.

Do you have children?

Yes, 1 handsome little boy!

Does he have any hidden talents?

Of course he does but I will keep this G rated! Ha Ha!!

How old is he?

He is 23.

 We both kinda did at the same time!  We both knew what the other was thinking... so we just said it! :)

What do you admire most about him?

The strong, honest, hardworking man that he is!!  He makes me SOOO Happy!

Dax LOVES to read!!

Since I have been home, and not working because I'm still healing from the surgery, I have been doing a lot of reading with Daxon.  It has been so much fun!! He loves it when I read to him, and this has been a perfect opportunity to do LOTS of it.  I can't play baseball, run, or pick him up, so we have been spending a lot of time reading.  We have been working on sounding out letters.  He is so amazing at how quick he catches on.  He can sound out and read most three letter words already.  There are a few longer words he can read as well.  He is really good at sounding them out.  He was really amazing Brian, my mom and I at how well he was doing!  He is so smart!  And he loves to learn!  We are so proud of you Dax!!

TAKING CARE OF MOM

Daxon has been taking such good care of me while I have been healing from my surgery!!  Last night, while I was reading to him, he asked if he could rub my shoulders to help me feel better.  I said SURE!!!  He does a really good job!  He has been pretty worried about me.  He has been helping me out and doing things for me because he knows it will help me get better.  What a sweetheart!

COUNTING MY BLESSINGS!!!

We kinda had a crappy weekend with me in the hospital after surgery.  I was tempted not to post this on my blog, because everyone wants to see happy things that happen in our lives.  But I just wanted to take this chance to thank all our family, friends, and the Surgeons, Doctors and Staff at SVMC!  We love all of you sooooo much!  Thanks for all of your love and support at this difficult time!  I am very lucky to be here and recovering so well! I am thankful for all of my many blessings.  I am especially grateful to Brian, Daxon, Mom, Dad, Boyd and Sherry!!

The Shooting Range

We took Daxon up to the shooting range.  My dad and I had to sight in our guns for the upcoming elk hunt.  Daxon is getting really good at shooting the BB gun.  He hit his target most of the time!  He was LOVING it!!  What a great shot!  It came so natural too him.  I couldn't believe it!  He really takes his time to make a good shot.  Except I thought he was gonna pass out a couple of times because we would tell him to hold his breath right before he shoots and he literally took in a DEEP breath and held it!  It was sooo funny!  We had a great time!

JESSICA'S BIRTHDAY PARTY!!

We had a blast at Jess and TJ's house for Jessica's Birthday party!!!  TJ made us BBQ ribs, and they were DELICIOUS!  We played tennis, golf and bowling on the Wii.  Dax got to play with us for a while, then went with his dad for the weekend.  He is really good at tennis.  Jess and I went for a ride on their Razor while TJ and Brian played Tiger Wood's Golf.  Then we all got really crazy when we played boys against girls in bowling.  It was sooooo much fun!

Daxon was so excited for his first day back to preschool!  He was really excited to show all the kids his new spiderman backpack!  He said he was really excited to see all his friends and learn new things from Mrs. Terecea and Mrs. Kathy.
