Back to School

I can't believe summer is over and school is back in session!! These cute kiddos are growing up!! Destri is in Kindergarten and Dax is in the 5th grade!! They had a great 1st day of school and they are excited to be back with their friends!!

Home

Here is the latest picture of our future home. We are pretty excited that it's getting closer. The decision making has been pretty stressful, but it is exciting and we know we will love it!

This is our temporary home. The Frank and Belinda Henry were nice enough to let us bunk here until our house is finished. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful friends who treat us just like family. We are so blessed!

Mountain Fun

Jessica and Theron came down for a visit, so we decided to beat the heat and take the side-by-sides for a ride up the mountain. We had lots of laughs and enjoyed the weather and each others company. Nothin' beats a ride up the mountain. We laughed so hard at some of the dumb bow hunters out there and how many shots it takes for us to kill a rattle snake. Always making fun memories that last a lifetime!

Happy Birthday Denim

My baby turned 3! I can't believe it! We had a little family Birthday Party for Denim at the house. It was lots of fun! We sure love this little girl. She is full of personality and too smart for her own good. The only thing she really for her birthday was BROWNIES!!! She cracks me up!

Tuacahn

We finally took a girls trip to St George to see a show at Tuacahn. We have been talking about it for a while. Denim turned 3 so we decided it would be fun to take her for her Birthday. We decided to make a day of it and go school shopping too. It was a fun little girls trip. We saw Disney's "When you Wish..." It was really cute and the girls loved every minute of it. They put on quite a performance.

Endless Summer Tournament

Daxon and the Bombers played a great tournament in Cedar City. It was supposed to be a 2 day tournament, but it got rained out on Friday. So they ended up playing all 4 games on Saturday. They played really well. Won 2 and lost 2. They were really close games. We did end up whooping Panguitch, so that was well worth it!! ;) Dax played really well just coming back from his broken wrist.

Piute County Fair 2015

Friday and Saturday are always the "big days" of the fair. It's when most of the people show up because its on the weekend and lots of people come to the rodeos on both nights. It's always lots of fun seeing everyone and enjoying the moment. My Mom pulled it off again. I don't know how she does it, but she manages to outdo herself every year. It was a huge success!! I sure love and appreciated her hard work!!

The parade was lots of fun!! Destri was beautiful on the queen float and Denim managed to clean house in the candy department!!

The girls really liked the bird show as part of Saturday afternoon's activities. Especially when they were able to interact with the birds.

Cory and Bobbie had a delicious corn stand!! And it was the cutest booth there!

The grand entry on Saturday night was unbelievable. It was Piute County's 150th birthday. So they did a special grand entry for our veterans. Tony Henry was honored and it was so special. Kate Dalton sang the National Anthem and her sister, Macey carried the flag on her horse. It was so beautiful. Brought tears to my eyes.
