Father's Day Weekend

It was a bit hectic for our Father's Day weekend. Between work and other activities planned, we weren't able to all get together with our parents at the same time. We tried to make the most of it though. Dax got to go for a horse ride with his dad, and they played some baseball together as well. Daxon loved every minute of it!!

These two dogs have a great time playing together. Nala (the St Bernard), which is my mom's new dog, is only 10 months old. Kill, which is our dog is 6 years old. They have a great time together! They are riding in the back of my mom's mini pickup in these pictures. Gotta love these two goobers!

My good friend, Lacy, sells the cutest jewelry and accessories. I decided to do a party at my house to sell some of her cute stuff. It was so much fun!! She even brought her husband, Cody, and her cute twins. We had such a great time, and I loved seeing Lacy the very most. Love ya Lacy, hope we can do it again soon! :)

Swimming Lessons

Swimming Lessons

This was Daxon's 1st year of swimming lessons. The school district sends a bus of kids up to the Richfield Pool for lessons. It's such a great program for those of us who live in the sticks. He really enjoyed the lessons, and he had a wonderful teacher. Ursula Mackay has been an instructor there for years and is awesome at what she does. And she is so good with the kids. Dax loved her. The only thing he didn't like is that it was all over after 4 days. He can't wait til next year!! :)

More Baseball

More Baseball

Daxon LOVES to play baseball. It's gonna be sad when the season is over for him. He has so much fun playing with his friends. He is so competitive already. I love watching him play. And every second of the day he is either wanting to play catch, hit balls, or wanting us to hit him fly balls and grounders. It's so much fun. He is so motivated and always wants to do better. The other day we went running on the track, and he decided to come with us. He ran 1.25 miles all on his own. I was so proud of him. He didn't give up. When this kid sets his mind on something, he does it. He is such a great boy, and we are SO PROUD of him!! Love ya Dax!

My mom and I decided to take some pictures of the kids. With Destri turning 2 and just the fact that it has been since last Fall since we have taken some shots of them to make prints for our homes. They really turned out cute!! We were really happy with the results. As you all know, it can be challenging to get good pictures of kids sometimes. :) Daxon wasn't really happy about a photoshoot, and he didn't want to have to comb his hair. So I told him he could wear his cowboy hat. He loved that idea, since he has worn it every single day this summer anyway. He 100% cowboy. I just love it!
