Halloween Birthday Party!

This year Daxon wanted to invite his whole class again, and a couple of other friends, for his 7th Birthday. We have a really small house, so I was really happy that the weather was perfect!! He wanted the theme this year to be HALLOWEEN!! It really turned out cute, because I was able to find some really fun stuff. They especially liked the witches brew and the costume game. Happy Birthday Dax!!!

Destri is potty trained!! YAHOO!! This girl is so smart and amazing. She picked up on it so fast! We were getting a little frustrated, because we would sit her on the potty and she had no idea what to do. One night, my mom and I decided to just sit her on the toilet and gave her liquids until she couldn't hold it any more. Once she realized what you do on the potty, she picked right up on it. For a few weeks, we gave her prizes out of a treasure chest. That was a HUGE incentive for her. She loved getting toys out of the "Team Treasure Chest".

After she caught on to the potty training, we decided it was time to graduate from the crib to a toddler bed. She was SO EXCITED about her new "big girl" bed! I was a little nervous about it, because she has slept SO GOOD in her crib. I wasn't ready for this simply because I was enjoying a full nights sleep. But to my surprise, she sleeps really good in her new bed. In fact, we can tell her to go take a nap, or to go to be, and she goes right in all by herself and lays down. She is such a good girl!

I can't believe she is this big already, but we are super excited that we can take diapers out of the budget!! Good Job Destri!!

Fall Fun!

Fall Fun!

Another beautiful Autumn on the Beaver Mountain!! It is especially gorgeous this year with all the moisture we have been blessed with this year. I was so glad we were able to go up and take some great pictures of the kids on this particular weekend, because the next weekend the mountain was covered in 2 feet of snow. And after that, the leaves were gone. So I was very thankful we were able to go and enjoy their beauty while they lasted. My mom and I got some really great shots of the kids. It was a lot of fun! I LOVE FALL!! It's my all time fav!
