Annual Vegas Trip/Cubs Spring Training Game
We had a BLAST this year again at the Cubs spring training game in Vegas. The weather wasn't that great, but we still had fun. They played the Texas Rangers. They lost, but it was a good game and a lot of home runs on both teams, so it made it exciting. We love going to these games, the whole atmosphere is so much fun. We stayed at the MGM again this year. (tradition) But this time Grandma Sherry and Grandpa Boyd (Brian's parents) got us rooms at the MGM Signature. They are SO NICE. We sure enjoyed our stay. We had a few disappointments... They no longer have the lions at the MGM. I guess one attacked a trainer, so the got rid of them. Then we walked over to ride the motion machines at the Excalibur, and they had shut them down for a few days. Then..... we went to the MGM arcade, and they totally removed it. So a little disappointing for the kids. So the last day, we decided to take them to the Shark Reef at the Mandalay Bay. A total success, the kids loved it.
Overall, it was such a great weekend to spend as a family. I've glad we've made this a tradition, and very excited that Bobbie is going to be in our family!! WE LOVE HER!

Note to self: Don't wear a shirt that says "I only kiss Cubs fans" in Vegas, especially when the Cubs are in town. LOL! I had plenty of volunteers! We all got a kick out of it though!
